Curacao Karnaval 2025

Curaçao’s Carnival season is a vibrant celebration filled with music, dance, and cultural events. The festivities commence on January 11 with the Opening of the Carnival Season. Following this, the Youth Tumba Festival on January 25 showcases young talents competing for the title of Youth King or Queen of Tumba. The election of the Teen Carnival King & Queen takes place on January 31, and the selection of the Carnival Queen, Prince, and Pancho is held on February 1.

As the season progresses, the Horse Parade on February 16 from 2 PM to 7 PM in Willemstad marks the first major parade.
The Youth Carnival Parade follows on February 23 at 2 PM, featuring young participants in elaborate costumes.
The Teen Carnival Parade is scheduled for February 28 at 6 PM, offering an energetic evening procession.
The Bandabou Region hosts its own parade on March 1 from 3 PM to 6 PM in Barber.
The highlight, the Main Carnival Parade (Gran Marcha), occurs on March 2 from 11 AM to 7 PM in Willemstad.
The season concludes with the Youth & Teen Farewell Parade on March 3 at 2 PM and the Main Farewell Parade on March 4 at 6 PM, both in Willemstad.
