Kreativiti Fest in Otrobanda

Otrobanda comes alive this weekend with Kreativiti Fest, a two-day celebration of design, creativity and community organized by Kaya Kaya. The event starts on Friday, 14 November 2025 at 6:30PM with an evening of “Kreativiti Talks” at the Jopi Hart Amphitheater, where local makers and designers share ideas and stories from the creative industry.

On Saturday, 15 November 2025, the festival continues from the afternoon into the evening around the Sebastopolstraat and Viaduct area, turning the neighborhood into an open-air creative hub. Visitors can expect workshops, live demonstrations, design showcases, interactive installations and a vibrant creative market.

The theme “Bridging the Gap” highlights how design and applied arts connect communities and inspire new opportunities. Food stalls, music and a friendly street-festival vibe make it a great outing for families, creatives and anyone curious about Curaçao’s growing design culture. Some workshops may require early arrival or sign-up, so coming on time is recommended.
