Experience Freedom Through Music at the Fleur de Marie Freedom Festival – May 5, 2025

Join us on May 5, 2025, for the Fleur de Marie Freedom Festival, a vibrant celebration of Curaçao’s rich heritage and the universal value of freedom. Set against the backdrop of the Fleur de Marie neighborhood, this free event commemorates Liberation Day with a unique blend of music, culture, and community spirit. Inspired by the successful Freedom Meals initiative, the festival aims to unite communities, promote inclusivity, and honor the significance of May 5th. ​

The festival boasts an impressive lineup of local talent, including Tamara Nivellac, Junior Tecla, Double R Super Special Stars, Elia Isenia and B’Jay . Attendees can expect a day filled with live music, poetry readings, and cultural showcases that inspire, educate, and bring people together in the name of freedom. The event runs from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, offering a platform for both established and emerging artists to showcase their talents. ​

Admission to the festival is free, but tickets are limited. Tickets can be picked up on May 1st between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM at Profound, located at Scharlooweg 102. A maximum of two tickets per person is allowed, and a valid ID is required.
