The Baseball Legends Mural that stands as a testament to the island's pride in its athletes and its commitment to nurturing future generations of talent.

Curaçao, though a small Caribbean island, has made a significant impact on Major League Baseball (MLB) by producing over 20 professional players. To honor these athletes, a massive mural is being painted at the historic Rif Fort Stadium in Otrobanda, Willemstad (right in front of the cruise terminal). This vibrant artwork celebrates local heroes such as Kenley Jansen, Ozzie Albies, Jonathan Schoop, Hensley Meulens, and Jurickson Profar.

The initiative aims to inspire the youth of Curaçao by showcasing the achievements of these baseball legends, demonstrating that with dedication and hard work, international success is attainable. The mural also serves as a tourist attraction, adding cultural value to the area and educating visitors about the island's rich baseball heritage.

The artist behind this ambitious project is Jhomar Loaiza, known professionally as Gomar. Gomar is renowned for his ability to capture the essence of his subjects, bringing them to life through vivid colors and dynamic compositions. His work on the Rif Fort Stadium mural not only beautifies the urban landscape but also immortalizes the spirit and achievements of Curaçao's baseball icons.
