The Caribbean Climate & Energy Conference (CCEC) returns for its second edition in May 2025, this time hosted in Curaçao. Building on the success of the inaugural event in Aruba in 2023, the conference aims to foster regional collaboration, knowledge exchange, and concrete actions to address climate resilience. Key objectives include developing a cohesive regional stance for COP29, facilitating discussions on climate action financing, and strengthening partnerships among Caribbean nations and international stakeholders.

The two-day program will focus on “Mitigation efforts” and “Adaptation measures.” Day one will address renewable energy, social inclusion, and implementing a circular economy in the Caribbean context. Day two will delve into food and water security, the role of cultural heritage in the built environment, and conducting climate risk assessments. Participants from governments, NGOs, academia, the private sector, and international organizations are invited to collaborate in shaping a resilient and sustainable future for the Caribbean.
