Yesterday marked the official launch of the Curaçao Innovation Hub, a forward-looking initiative powered by CINEX, the Curaçao Innovation & Technology Institute (CITI), the University of Curaçao (UoC) and the Ministry of Economic Development (MEO). This strong collaboration between government, academia, and the private sector signals a clear ambition: to create Curaçao’s central engine for innovation, technology development, and entrepreneurial growth.

The Curaçao Innovation Hub aims to stimulate innovation, support startups and entrepreneurs, and connect educational institutions with investors and policy makers. Its mission is to help build a future-ready economy for Curaçao by making technology more accessible, nurturing local talent, and fostering an ecosystem where ideas can grow into impactful solutions that stand both locally and internationally.

The hub will be housed at a dedicated physical location designed to bring innovators together — offering co-working spaces, training areas, and creative labs similar to those found in CITI’s Innovation Village. It will provide a space where students, creators, and entrepreneurs can collaborate, experiment, and develop new products and services in a vibrant community of forward thinkers.

One of the highlights of the launch was the impressive promotional video — created entirely with AI-powered video tools. The futuristic visuals not only showcased the hub’s vision but also demonstrated exactly what emerging technologies make possible. It was a perfect reflection of what the Curaçao Innovation Hub stands for: the powerful intersection of creativity, technology, and innovation.
