One Caribbean Business Network: Connecting Entrepreneurs Across the Caribbean
A new initiative is helping to strengthen connections between entrepreneurs, professionals, and innovators across the Caribbean: the One Caribbean Business Network Foundation (OCBN). Through its online platform at welcome.ocbn.org, the organization is building a regional business community where collaboration, mentorship, and new opportunities can grow beyond island borders. Founded in Curaçao, the network aims to bring together entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and economic organizations to share knowledge, build partnerships, and support sustainable business development throughout the Caribbean.
OCBN combines both digital and real-world networking. The platform functions as a Caribbean business social network where members can create profiles, showcase their businesses, share updates, and connect directly with other professionals. In addition to the online community, the network hosts regular in-person meetups and virtual “power hour” sessions that allow participants from different islands to meet, exchange ideas, and explore collaboration opportunities. Events and regional chapters, tarting in Curaçao and expanding to places like Aruba, help transform these online connections into real partnerships and business growth.
The initiative is designed around a people-first philosophy that values authentic relationships over traditional transactional networking. By focusing on inclusivity, collaboration, and meaningful connections, OCBN aims to create a supportive ecosystem where entrepreneurs, freelancers, startups, and investors can help each other grow and innovate across the region. Admission is Free!
At Curalink, we really like their approach. Especially the combination of a community mindset with a modern social-network style interface. It’s a great initiative and clearly well thought out.
