The CFA (Curacao FinTech Association) was established in November 2021. The members of this association want to stimulate innovation for online payment transactions. Via this foundation they want to be a connecting factor between the government, the central bank and entrepreneurs. The term FinTech stands for Financial Technologies that are used to improve and facilitate online payments.
Participants within CFA are: IBIS Management, Profound, Ictual and CX Pay. These locally based companies joined forces in this foundation with Efia Scoutto as Secteratis, Geraume Bor as President and Clifton Wallé as Treasurer. The Foundation states on their website that Curaçao Fintech is creating an ecosystem, to spur financial innovation across the Caribbean.
