Friday 29 and Saturday 30 March, Pietermaai will once again be filled with blues vibes during the sixth edition of the Curaçao BlueSeas Festival. The festival kicks off on Thursday evening, 28 March, with a special concert at Kura Hulanda. Pietermaai is a vibrant neighborhood with numerous bars and restaurants. This historic district in Willemstad is well-suited for an event of this nature. It's already the sixth time that the streets of Pietermaai transform into a bustling hub of people gathering to admire internationally renowned blues stars.

This year's lineup includes:
Thursday 28 March, opening in Kura Hulanda Village: Jo Harman
Friday 29 March in Pietermaai: Candace Ivory, D.K. Harrell, Tommy Castro and The Painkillers, Chris Cain Band
Saturday 30 March in Pietermaai: Damon Fowler, Kat Riggins & Her Blues Revival, Danielle Nicole, Kai Strauss & The Electric Blues Allstars

The organization behind this event is Fundashon Bon Intenshon. Established in Curaçao in 1990, the Foundation "Fundashon Bon Intenshon" serves as the driving force, co-organizer, and primary sponsor. The foundation aims to spotlight Curaçao prominently within the global community. Since its inception, it has been dedicated to supporting a variety of projects spanning education, culture, sports, poverty alleviation, healthcare, and tourism, as part of its social responsibility.

In collaboration with Mojo Concerts, the Fundashon orchestrates the Curaçao International BlueSeas Festival, aligning seamlessly with its overarching objectives. Beyond simply enjoying the festival, attendees also immerse themselves in the warm hospitality of Curaçao, ensuring the island's multifaceted appeal is showcased to international music enthusiasts. Additionally, Fundashon Bon Intenshon has facilitated two other remarkable projects: the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival (since 2010) and the Curaçao International Film Festival Rotterdam (since 2012).
