Green Kids is a non-profit organization that promotes children to help make the world a cleaner, greener, and healthier place to live. Furthermore, the project's team encourages participants to be proud of themselves, school, and their island. They do this through innovative interactive teaching programs that are tailored to children's experiences and learning preferences. The team challenges teens to a sustainable lifestyle based on the principles of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle & Refuse and stimulates them to think about their behaviour.
The teaching programs they develop are in line with the experiences and learning styles of teenagers and are creative and innovative. Local Hotel Lions Dive donates a dollar for every booking made on their website for Lesmateriaal. Maya Mathias one of the initiators of this ongoing project communicates that she is thankful for all the support het organization received to spread more information about the green movement.
