Last week Curacao received the first flight from Brazil with Azur Airlines. The Brazilian airline will fly to Curacao every Saturday. The flights depart from the city of Belo Horizonte to the island. Azur Airlines is the largest airline in Brazil. From December there will be a doubling of the frequency. The flights are operated with an Airbus A320neo that is beautifully decorated with an illustration of the Handelskade in Willemstad. A flight to Brazil is estimated to cost between $350 and $450 for a round trip.

Belo Horizonte is the 6th largest city in Brazil. The city has more than 2.6 million inhabitants. The city is known as Brazil's first modern city. Compared to other South American cities, the city is known as a city with friendly people, good restaurants and bars, and a lot of parks and cultural attractions. The city is also known for its low crime rate compared to other cities in the area. Belo Horizonte is the capital of Minas Gerais and has lots of green space, wide avenues, and interesting museums and galleries.
